Focusing on the Future 

Many communities are still recovering from the devastation caused by hurricane Helene and hurricane Milton last fall. The damage was widespread--affecting communities close to our headquarters in Florida, to individuals up and down the east coast. With countless homes destroyed and families displaced, we stepped up to help. 

We organized a food and clothing drive for individuals far and wide, and launched an initiative to provide low-cost flooring to homes affected throughout Pinellas County. We carried that program into the new year, up until April, providing a solid building-block for projects as they regained their momentum.

Tragedy struck a Tampa Bay rescue in June of this year. Happy Tailz, located in Tampa Bay, helps sick, injured, and special needs cats find loving forever homes.

A devastating fire completely destroyed the owner's home, as well as the outdoor shelter. We provided flooring to help both spaces rebuild and continue their mission.

Building Communities with Habitat for Humanity

We've had a long-standing partnership with Habitat for Humanity, and for good reason. We believe that everyone should have a comfortable, accessible home, and we're always eager to help this group make that a reality.

Aside from attending multiple groundbreaking ceremonies, we've donated our time and resources to countless builds across Florida through the Tampa Bay Gulfside chapter.

Homes in Partnership

Homes in Partnership provides affordable housing to low-income families. We gladly support this organization and have attended multiple events this year, making connections and learning how we can help others when they need it most.

Our Yearly Tradition: Angel Tree Initiative

This program is a Pelican favorite! During the holiday season, we partner with the Salvation Army through their Angel Tree program. We receive Angel Tree tags with the name of a child and their gift wish list. Our team works together to find the perfect presents for these children, so their Christmas morning is a little bit brighter.

To the Rescue!

It's always handy to have an animal whisperer on your team. 

Quinn isn't just a Senior National Account Manager--she's our Charitable Programs Coordinator. Her skills came in a time of need for a racoon cub that wandered too far from its family. Quinn was quick to usher him from Pelican property to VEG Veterinary Emergency Group in Clearwater, where he could be nursed back to health and transferred to a local wildlife rehabber.
