When it comes to picking the perfect sink, what matters most to you: durability or style? With granite composite, you don’t have to sacrifice either. Discover the benefits of this one-of-a-kind sink in this helpful guide.
Designed to Last
Crafted in Germany with cutting-edge materials, each Pelican granite composite sink is tested to top-notch standards. Composed of natural quartz sand, granite composite holds up under pressure, able to withstand countless dropped dishes and unruly silverware. It’s heat-resistant, so temperatures up to 350 degrees won’t scorch or blemish its surface.
Easy to Clean
No one wants to smell the after-effects of day-old food. Thankfully, granite composite sinks are non-porous and antimicrobial, so they don’t trap food particles or other substances. Pelican’s granite composite sinks use a special anti-bacterial protection, made of silver ions, to combat germ and fungi growth. Dirt naturally rolls off its surface, making washing fruits and veggies a breeze. Just use a sponge and soap routinely to keep this sink looking chic, or view our maintenance guides for more advice.
Styles for All
With granite composite, you’re not limited to just one style for your sink. Pelican’s Crystallite Series features multiple on-trend colors. From a rich Mocha and Onyx to a youthful Alpina and Sand, these shades bring a deep boost of color to any kitchen space. Other configurations make for a unique experience, too:
- Apron Front: This unique style brings the farmhouse look to your kitchen. Apron front sinks are known for their depth and exposed front, which protrudes slightly from the cabinetry.
- Undermount: Undermount sinks are flush with the countertop—so there isn’t an exposed lip or rim of the sink.
- Top mount: Also known as a “drop-in” sink, top mount sinks are placed into a hole that’s cut into the countertop. Unlike undermount sinks, the rim of the sink sits on top of the countertop.
Don’t Break the Bank
With this style of sink, you’ll get the look and feel of natural granite without the steep price. Granite composite is more affordable than regular granite sinks. While granite sinks require heavy investment, granite composite sinks are a great economical option while maintaining beauty and strength.
